Foreign Translation Rights for Books
Leor literary agency serves as an intermediate between numerous independent French publishers and the international literary scene, by taking care of the domestic and foreign translation rights for books. We occasionally take care of film rights.
Our goal is to bring promising French fiction, non-fiction and children’s books to the attention of foreign publishers, whether it means patiently prospecting new opportunities from our main office in France or traveling abroad to meet face to face with publishers and establish partnerships.
As agents, we consider it our mission to be sensible advisers, rigorous negotiators and trustworthy contacts for all our partners. That is why we always handle each contract, licence or permission with extra care and will not settle for anything less than a win-win situation.
We will be attending the Frankfurt and London book fairs in 2020, during which we will introduce some of our best titles for publishers to discover. Furthermore, publishers are welcome to come and visite our rights list ans to get in touch with us for any licence & permissions equieries.
